September 09, 2005 I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to be much happier in life. Starting off with the small things, you know. Wishing random strangers a happy birthday (this includes wishing random stangers a happy birthday even though it isn't actually their birthday yet). I've done some pretty shameful things, basic common curtosy things that make us human - at least, make us a better human. This change in my life is party due to the Deputy Manager at work quitting (sadly, I wasn't a part of her decision). This new lease of happyness is surreal - but it's nice to feel this way. Anyway, moving on! I'm back at college, well, I en-rolled yesterday and official start the course next week, but it's all good. Nice to see the old gang again (plus a few new faces - Nick, Dan, George, and Lee) but yeah, I can't wait. Hopefully this time next year, I'll be at Uni too. Now that is one thing I can't wait for. I know I'm pinning all my hopes at getting in the one that I want to (and if I don't, heads will role) but you know, I'm a bit worried about that. My aim is to go to Brighton Uni - I've got friends down there... and if I don't, I'd be quite shocked. Still. Theres always clearing (a place Uni applicants go to if they don't get the grades. It's basically when all the Uni's club together, list all their free spaces they have, and offer them out to the failures). Things are really picking up in Leesville though - so somewhere, somehow, someone I know is have a real crappy time. My thoughts and love (and hugs and stuff) go out to Coleen and her family... I know she's been having a particularly hard time recently. Well, that about sums it up. |
