All About Me!
October 14, 2001

Name: Lee Paul Davies

Age: 17

Date Of Arrival: 21st October, 1984

Religion: Wicca

Siblings: One younger brother

I was born in Whiston Hospital, Liverpool, England on the 21st October 1984. Five years later my mum gave birth to my brother, Adam. When I was a kid, I had a Simpsons poster, but I had no idea who/what they where!

I had Thomas The Tank Engine wallpaper in my room, and loved the Saturday morning kids TV show called Whack-a-day. It stared Timmy Mallet, with cool mallet-like-hammers and he used to whack people over the head with them, fun! I also liked a show called Rainbow which was like a UK version of The Muppets. Zippy was cool, he had a zip for a mouth, so people could just zip him up! I also liked Ghostbusters, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, both were cartoons.

I also had two huge (well, they were huge for a 4-5 year old!) Tweety and Sylvester bears, they had huge eyes, and they scared me to death everytime I went to sleep. In our old house (before we moved) I shoved them around the little al-cove in my room. Also, in my room we had the airing cubboard, which was cool, cos it had shelves, and I used to hide there when playing Hide and Seek.

I had a friend called Joan when in our old road, she caugh a catapillar and kept it as a pet, so I wanted one. I did, feed it etc, until one morning my mum said I had to let it out, I cried all day. We also had thousands of fish, but they all died within a week :(

When we moved out of that house, I remember saying goodbye to all the rooms... young kids eh?

Our house we live in now was the house of my Nanny Davies' and Grandpa Davies'. Nan had died and Grandpa lived with us for a while until he moved into a flat. Luckily, a new friend from school lived next door to me, so she introduced me to other kids in the street.

I used to go out with them, play Knock'n'Run (just a kids game where you knock at a door and run away before they can answer the door). I remember once, this lad knocked, and ran and hid behind the same wall as me. The lady came out, hanging around the street, and I moved to the other wall, but she saw me, and whacked me with a towel she had, whilst shouting. Lookin back, I had a laugh.

I also remember that I used to go down to the Travel Agents and ask them if they had any old brouchers they didn't want. I had loads, and so I set up my own Travel Agents in our front garden. All the kids on the street came to it... they used to take all the brouchers too! We also played Pizza Hut in my front path too... meals on wheels, cos we (the 'waiters') wore Roller-Blades.

Then I stopped going out, and stayed in. I rose through the ranks of Primary school, year after year, finally starting Bowring Comprehensive in 1996. I met a few people from my old school there, and a few new mates to.

Don't think I did anything bad in school. I got shouted at for trying to fix the printer in school (they thought I was hacking.. stupid teachers). So anyway, I gained the 'suck' name (aka 'teachers pet'), then dropped that in the last (and most important) two years, but only with teachers I hated.

I dunno how, but I managed to pass my GCSE's, and gain entry to college this year (2001).

During that last three years, I recieved a computer, and finally with net access. Although my mum's cancelled it 3-4 times (each time saying I'll never get it back), it hasn't stopped me from shouting at her!

I love Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel, Xena: Warrior Princess, Star Trek(s), and most other cool TV shows.

It was from Buffy, with all the spells and magick that I decided to become wiccan. I use sites like Avatar-Search to find spells and stuff. Because of the person I am, I took heed of the warnings about the dangers of magick, and so I left it alone. Only to come back to it in later months, leaving it along again, then coming back to it. It was when I met ChiaJedi (a fellow Wiccan) and Slayerette did I actually bother to find stuff out about Wicca and magick. I bought books, read them, and found they where true to me. Of course, my parents and brother moaned, saying stuff like:

"Why do you believe in magic Lee? It doesn't exist"...

... or my mum would just say this to people when she thinks I'm not listening:

"Oh, it's just a phase he's going through"

I assure you mother dear, it's not a phase.

So I decided to buy incense with my card (that came the other day) and few other things as well.

And thus concludes our story of my past... and brings you to the present, look forward for the future, but also remember that you should live life for today, yesterday is gone and tomorrow may never come.
