Scary Stuff
March 16, 2003

It scares me, sometimes, how like my dad I am.

I planned to go into detail, but I can't really be bothered. Needless to say, I don't like it.

He as a person is sound (well, as sound parents can be) but I just don't want to be like that...

Ah well. Back to mounds of coursework >.< Edit Since I'm downloading Chicken Invaders (see Gweenie I may as well add what I've been doing recently. Today I arose at around one in the afternoon, only to find my mother outside in the garden shed looking for something. I went down and found out she was looking for her dad's spade (which is a mighty damned good spade). She couldn't find it (despite dragging everything out and "conveinitently" forgetting to put it all back). Anyhow, we went to B&Q (a DIY/Garden store) to pick up a new one. Needless to say, we walked out with a bunch of plants. I bought some Sweat Peas, and some Viola's (I love both of these, my Granddad used to have them in his back yard - every time I went round to his when I was little, he let me snip a few off for mother [the brashness of youth, eh]). I planted the Viola's around the aptly named 'mums' bush, and they look quite good actually... I just hope the slugs don't get to them before they have a chance to grow properly. Anyhow, I haven't planted the Sweat Pea's yet, they are only about an inch tall and either wouldn't survive in the ground yet, or again, the slugs would get to them before they could grow. They're sitting on my windowledge in my room right now - heh. I've always loved gardening (I have my Granddad to thank for that) and like all the stuff. I've grown heaps of stuff from seed... quick successfully I may add. But I don't like to plant them in the garden, damned slugs >.<
